Chaos Story Generator is a free browser game. We do not ask you to create an account and we do not sell personal data.

What we store

Your theme choice, lock-mode preference and the recent shuffle history are kept in your own browser (local and session storage). A random, anonymous browser identifier is generated so that the “Suggest a Card” form can apply its one-submission-per-day limit. This identifier is not linked to your name, email or device fingerprint.

Card suggestions

When you submit a card, we store the emoji, the phrase, the target deck, the anonymous browser identifier and a timestamp so an administrator can review it. Approved cards become part of the public card pool.

Cookies and advertising

This site may display advertising from third-party providers such as Google AdSense. Those providers may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising through Google Ads Settings or your browser’s cookie controls.
